Mohanlal pens hearfelt note for daughter Vismaya’s Thudakkam: ‘A father’s heart couldn’t ask for more’

As actor Vismaya Mohanlal’s debut film, Thudakkam, has opened in theatres, actor Mohanlal took to social media to pen a note dedicated to his daughter. Thudakkam is also the acting debut for Aashish Joe Antony, the son of producer Antony Perumbavoor.

“A father’s heart couldn’t ask for more. Watching Vismaya begin her journey with Thudakkam, and seeing the love you’ve shown her, is a blessing I’ll always cherish,” wrote Mohanlal.

He added, “It warms my heart with immense joy to see Aashish Joe Antony, whom I have known and loved since he was a little boy, sharing this beautiful journey alongside her. Thank you for embracing them both with such warmth.”

Jude Anthany Joseph has written and directed Thudakkam, which is produced by Antony under the Aashirvad Cinemas banner.

CE‘s review of the film reads, “Mohanlal’s son Pranav made his debut in 2018 with Aadhi, a film specifically designed to tap into his skills that go beyond mere acting. Eight years later, we get almost a repeat with Thudakkam, his sister Vismaya’s debut. If Pranav’s parkour stunts were the USP in Aadhi, in Thudakkam, it’s Vismaya’s expertise in martial arts.”
