The Swedish House Mafia co-founder will perform in Mumbai between Dec. 18 and 19, 2026, joining The Chainsmokers
EDM artist Sebastian Ingrosso returns to India this December for a headline set at Sunburn Festival in Mumbai, held at Mahalaxmi Racecourse on Dec. 18 and 19, 2026.
The co-founder of famed electronic music group Swedish House Mafia (SHM) and behind hits such as “Reload,” “Calling (Lose My Mind)” and “More Than You Know,” as well as SHM hits like “Don’t You Worry Child,” will be back in India after more than a decade. In 2012, Swedish House Mafia’s Ingrosso, Axwell and Steve Angello performed as part of their One Last Time Tour in India. In 2014, after SHM had called time as a group, Axwell ^ Ingrosso toured India once again as part of Sunburn Arena.
While Axwell was enlisted to headline Sunburn Festival last year, this year seems to be another SHM co-founder’s turn, with Ingrosso taking over. The artist joins American EDM duo The Chainsmokers as the second Sunburn headliner, with more “global names to join the lineup in the weeks ahead,” according to a press release.
Sunburn CEO Karan Singh said in a statement, “Sebastian Ingrosso has been an influential force in electronic music and has built a deep connection with generations of dance music fans in India. His return to Sunburn marks the homecoming of an artist who has played a defining role in the evolution of global electronic music and whose association with Swedish House Mafia has made him a particularly significant name for Indian audiences. We are thrilled to welcome him back to Sunburn Festival 2026, more than a decade after his last performance in India. We are building an edition that brings together globally influential artists and a new generation of fans, while continuing to strengthen Sunburn’s position as a platform for the world’s biggest electronic music experiences in India.”
