Welcome to our weekly rundown of new music – featuring must-hear singles, statement-making EPs and albums and key tracks.

This week, pop star Darshan Raval continues his love affair with the monsoons, with a soulful assist from singer-songwriter Simran Choudhary on “Barsaat Lagdi Ae,” while indie act Easy Wanderlings team up with pop artist Mali for the aptly calming “Mellow.” Bengaluru experimental rock band 12th Main are unsettlingly good on “Distress: A Fugue in Dhenuka” which brings rage from Munz (from folk-metallers The Down Troddence).

On the groovier front, Goa band Pink Moss start a party with “No Hard Feelings” and Harry Grover turns to Afro buoyancy for his song “Mama,” featuring Moroccan artist NOLI and Nigerian artist Mhizta Ne.
